Storyline:
The plot revolves around Tamilrockerz, an infamously pirated gang that has announced their intention to leak high-budget films. The story opens up with Rudhra (Dhanush), a police officer, who is put in charge of choosing and training six aspiring security specialists who will be assigned to this region of the country. After screening over seven thousand candidates, he chooses a team comprising six young men and women; three men and three women. This is where we get acquainted with each one of them as they are introduced one by one in quick cuts using freeze-frame illustrations.
The main focus is on Kavi (Arun Vijay), sporty, handsome and arrogant towards cinema, but ironically given the task to apprehend the piracy group which he believes only brings him occasional pleasure without paying for it.
